Hieizan Enryakuji

I went hiking to Hieizan with my housemates one day, and

the weather was beautiful.

First, we took the Eizan train to Yase Station.

I love local trains such as the Randen and the Hiroden.

While we were climbing on the

animal trail from Yase Sta

tion (for about two hours), we discovered bleached white animal bones. Whoa (д)

At last, we arrived at the top of Hieizan, while singing an

d joking with each other.

The panorama was lovely!

Did you know that there is not a specific Enryakuji temple?

There are 150 temples and pagodas at the top of the Hieizan area, like Koyasan, and together

they are called Enryakuji Temple.

There is also a really peaceful Zen garden.

By the way, we used the Eizan Gondola and the Eizan Cable Car for the way back.

They ran using old technology, and it was thrilling for us!
