A festival to pray for the good harvest.
A dance called Otamai is performed by young girls
in the Heian period costumes at 1:00PM,
and rice-planting ceremony is held by thirty farm women
wearing traditional work clothes at 2:00PM.
It is very traditional. You can't Miss it!
Access to Fushimi Inari Shrine
From J-Hoppers Kyoto: walk about 30min'
or City bus # 202 or # 207 to " Tofukuji" then transfer South #5 "Fushimi Inari"
From Kyoto station: JR Nara line "Inari station" (5min' ride)
